With a highly creative mind, and inspired by the images of photography icons Mario Testino and David Lachapelle, along with her love for culture, Ropena has over the last several years, nurtured her unique and contemporary style as a fashion designer and stylist. This past spring, she began working on her label "Ropena-Hand Made in Canada".

This is a dream come true for Ropena who has been passionate in developing a label that not only speaks of creativity but also meets her demands in terms of timeless design and high quality craftsmanship. With an appreciation for pure textiles such as cotton, linen and silk, Ropena has brought to life designs in clothing she has imagined in natural sunlight colors on the hot beaches of St. Tropez, the dry Sahara desert and the sunny plains of Tuscany.

With the successful launch of her "boho" chic label of easy comfortable day wear and cocktail dresses, and her signature line of accessories, Ropena looks forward to realizing another one of her passions, which is to design made-to-measure sensual gowns for the red carpets of Cannes and Hollywood.
